Accessibility Statement

We believe the internet should be accessible to everyone. As Läderach Türkiye, we are committed to making our website available to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability.

Our commitment

At Läderach Türkiye, we are committed to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We continually work to improve accessibility so that everyone, including visitors with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive impairments, can equally enjoy the online shopping experience.

Availability

We aim to develop our site to be as compliant as possible with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the W3C. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Following these guidelines helps make our site accessible to users who are blind, people with motor impairments, and users with cognitive disabilities.

Screen reader and keyboard navigation

Our site uses ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes so that visitors using screen readers can read and understand the content. Meaningful labels are provided for forms, descriptions for action icons (social media, search, cart, and so on), and role information for elements such as buttons, menus, and modal windows.

The site is designed to be navigable with the keyboard alone: you can move between elements using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, activate links and buttons with the Enter key, and use the arrow keys within dropdown menus. These arrangements are compatible with common screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

Visual and readability adjustments

To support accessibility, we pay careful attention to the following principles:

  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background
  • Legible typefaces and a flexible layout that adapts to different screen sizes
  • Descriptive alternative (alt) texts for images
  • Meaningful labeling of links and buttons
  • Keyboard focus that is always visible

Assistive technology and browser compatibility

We aim to support as many browsers and assistive technologies as possible so our users can choose the tools that suit them best. We test our site to be compatible with current browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge, and with screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA on Windows and macOS.

Continuous improvement

Despite all our efforts to present our website in a way that meets everyone's needs, it is possible that some pages or sections are not yet fully accessible, are in the process of being made accessible, or lack a suitable technological solution. Nevertheless, we continuously improve our accessibility, update our options and features, and adopt new technologies.
